OLIVER HALL is our black belt of the month for December 2024!
Oliver is one of our top Leadership Team black belts at World Martial Arts. He began his martial arts journey with Karate at Hampton Roads Academy before switching to Taekwondo at WMA. He earned his black belt in December 2020 during the pandemic, training hard via Zoom and socially-distanced classes on the mats.
He then joined our Leadership Team and eventually became a counselor for our summer camp, where he caught the attention of the instructors with his proactive attitude and positive engagement with the students. Due to his work, he earned the York County Outstanding Youth Award for Compassion in 2024! He also won the Junior Leadership award this year at World Martial Arts.
He currently goes to York High School as a part of the International Baccalaureate Program. Below, you can find his answers to our interview questions!
