NORA POLITO is our black belt of the month for August 2024!
Nora began Taekwondo at World Martial Arts when she was four years old, after attending a friend's birthday party at the dojang. She kept up with it through the COVID-19 pandemic with Zoom classes, joined Leadership Team, and then earned her black belt in December of 2022!
She then continued her Leadership Team work while training for her 2nd degree black belt. Often, she would come swimming Saturday mornings and then jump into one hour of intense Taekwondo sparring training. Nora's cardio is top notch!
Nora also serves our community as the 2023-2024 National Youth Heart Ambassador. Her commitment to leading a heart-healthy lifestyle was recognized by the American Heart Association at the Hampton Roads Heart Ball in May.
Here are some of her answers to our interview questions!
